Preamble
|
Controller of Examinations office (Exam Cell) at KJSCE is responsible to create and display examination timetable, coordinate and conduct internal and external examinations, process marks, publish results and conduct convocation. The Controller of Examination office promotes centralized examinations and evaluation for about 3000 students of KJSCE. The examinations are scheduled in line with the academic calendar. The final results are announced within 30 working days of the last examination.

Mission
-
Devise and monitor strategies and implementation of useful examination practices
-
Working towards evolving a credible, valid, effective and transparent examination and evaluation system that responds confidently to the challenges and newer demands of today’s era
-
To conduct all examinations subject to the superintendence of the Examination Committee (EC) and responsible for the due execution of all processes connected therewith
-
To upkeep due custody of the digital and documented records pertaining to examinations and evaluation and related activities
-
To envisage the need for radical reforms in traditional examination and evaluation system from time to time
-
To set ourselves for adopting technology to facilitate easy interface for exchange of information
-
Introduction of digital and online systems in examination, evaluation and services rendered by the examination cell
-
To train faculty members and non-teaching staff about the conduct and organization of examination and examination material
-
Strengthen Student facilitation for prompt response and delivery of student queries and services
-
Coordinate with all other higher and regulatory agencies to ensure credibility and stability to examination system
-
Respect autonomy, promote excellence and inclusiveness where they exist and are necessary.
