Industry Academic Interface (IAI) is an initiative of KJSCE to share expertise, experience and infrastructure between Industry & Institute.

The aim of IAI is to make our institute a Centre of Excellence for Research, Training & Consultancy. The collaboration is beneficial for Industry as well as the Institute with the shared human resource, Infrastructure, lab setup, equipment & facilities. The Industry can take help of Institute for carrying out R&D and to solve any technical hurdles, and on the other hand the students & faculties get a chance to further hone their skills & knowledge in the Industry environment by taking up internship opportunities & related projects.

The main functioning of the IAI cell will be,

• Identify industry partners and proactively engaging them to explore opportunities in the area of technical research.
• Facilitate Institute & Industry engagement through internships, joint projects with industry, fellowships, seminars, workshop and placements.
• Facilitate SDP (Student Development Program) & FDP (Faculty Development Program) by inviting Industry Experts to give training on Technical & Soft skills
• Act as a resource co-ordinator & mentor to help students to execute mega project for the institute.
